Your Next Roof Can Pay For A Wedding!

February 23, 2011 | Filed under: Articles, Misc

Here’s a very interesting video on how one young couple intends to pay for their wedding … one used beverage can at a time.

An aluminum roof manufactured by Classic Metal Roofing Systems is comprised of approximately 1,815 used aluminum cans per 100 square feet of roof area. The average installed Classic roof uses over 60,000 cans!

In today’s age of environmental consciousness, aluminum roofing can be a great way to go. It is a positive way to close the recycling loop and not have to “go back to the well” for newly mined raw materials for your next roof. Additionally, aluminum is a long term sustainable material.

Check out the video below … and consider helping these folks pay for their wedding with your next roofing decision!
